Advantages: Absolutely exceptional prices on an ever expanding range of products

Disadvantages: Only the best Management can give you the shopping experience you want

(Updated 19/12/2007). I have taken the comments on board in regards to giving a proper review so here i go. Farmfoods prices are truly fantastic, "We are the home of exceptional prices", Currently our veg range has been drastically reduced in price, also if you have the ability to visit one of the stores in the Midlands "not telling which one" you will find me, my customer service skills are excellent if you want it and we have it i know where it is put me to the test. Farmfoods now have many fruit and veg items plus a massive chilled food range, in addition our none food and pet food ranges have grown exponentionaly and are still expanding. Our clean and tidy stores provide a welcoming atmosphere and also allow you to have the best shopping experience ever. We stock over 1000 frozen food lines and over 1100 dry food lines, " if we dont stock it, It's not worth having". Happy shopping.
Having worked for farmfoods for 3 years as assistant manager i know what it is like to over 50 hours per week, I do this almost every week. We may get 30 days annual leave, but, last year i lost 5 holiday days and more than 10 days owed, which I will never get back, this in it's self is not a problem, Not all the management Know how to implement basic store opperations, which i know backwards. In regards to the pay scale I get paid after 3 years service £12000, in a number of circumstances staff members have out earned me working as few as 43 hours, as people move up the ladder you would assume a jump up the pay scale not a step or two down, how can a company manage paying their management less than the staff working for them. My manager gets paid less than £16000 after 3 years service. Comparativly Asda pay £15500 assistant manager and a Minimum of £24000 for a manager all the big 4 pay almost 25% more. Iceland, Lidl and netto pay almost as much as the big 4 so in regard to the pay scale yes as management we are over the barrel and extreamly under valued. LFCRule24 Thank you for reading x.

Summary: This review is true, Please read it learn it, A great place to shop. Not a great place to work.
