I have used Farmfoods in Rochdale town centre and i find it so cramped in there with stock you can barely get the shopping trolley down the aisles. The staff are friendly enough but all look like they need a good wash and i always feel like you have to wipe your feet on the way out which is why i don't go anymore! I personally would prefer to spend abit more now than look at someones filthy finger nails shoving my goods in the carrier bags

what i think that you might find, is that the staff are usually fliting in between, shelf stacking and serving on the till. some shops are very understaffed, and also very dirty.if a manager was to lead from the front, then the rest of the staff would follow. it seems that once you are made a manager, then why should you do any form of cleaning. i am not saying all managers are like this. but i know of one in particular.i used to work for farmfoods, at two different stores. but i left as i have had a great deal of managerial experiance from other outlets, that some of the staff saw me as a threat. a threat to their titles. i cannot say to their jobs, as they did not have a clue as to what to do in their jobs.they seem to give out these so-called titles like sweets. but they never get back to basics. for example the food packaging would look better if it was not put out onto dirty shelves.then the staff would have clean hands, when till serving. after all first impressions count.do customers really want to buy from these shops. o.k. so they are cheap, but iceland have also dropped their prices, and their shops are clean.you have to think when especially as they cannot keep their staff, management included.
