Advantages: Has some good offers but overall prices can be cheaper than elsewhere
Disadvantages: Apart from feeling cold the time you've finished i can't think of nothing else
This shop is one that i often pop into if i am out in the city as i know i can get some good offers there.
It's mainly frozen foods and these vary from meat, party food, pizzas, chinese, indian, chips, potato products, puddings, ice creams, vegetables, meat free and set meals.
Farmfoods do have their own maked foods which are often very cheap but they do stock other makes like birds eye, bernard matthews, findus and other well know brands. These too tend to be cheaper than the other leading supermarkets.
Along with the frozen foods they do sell on shelves stacked above the freezers the following types of foods/non foods;
biscuits, crisps, dips, pasta, beans, sauces, eggs, bread, baby food, fruit juices, squash, coffee, tea, sweets, fruit, vegetables, toilet rolls, washing up liquid and other cleaning bits. They do also sell milk, cheese, margarine and ham.
I have found that in the past if there has been the odd week that i have been really short of money then i have shopped here and i have always been surprised on how little i have spent
for what i have actually brought.
The shop in norwich is not that big but the isles are lovely and wide so when you're browsing through the freezers it's easy to let someone past with their trolley without a squeeze.
This shop is not that well advertised compared to other leading supermarkets but if you are getting like i am and have to stick to a budget or even if you want a change then i do recommend that you try this place.
Summary: Although i'm not a regular shopper here, i do like this shop especially if on a budget
