FARMFOODS Not just frozen foods (Farmfoods)

Advantages: Great Prices some really crazy!,A different choice from some of the other supermarkets.

I love Farmfoods!

I always look forward to going to Farmfoods, as there are always different
products to buy. I particularly go for the vegeterain section , not that I am one, but I like to try different alternatives to meat sometimes.

I was really pleased this weekend when I discovered that they had restocked on some new Grassington products that I hadn't tried before. ( I have tried their Red Onion and Cheese Sausages which were delicous). They were:

2 Beef style peppered steaks
2 Chicken style fillets in a tomato and herb marinade
Beef style meatballs

Which where £1 for 2 boxes. I stocked up incase they didn't get anymore, in which I'm glad I did as they are delicous!

I have found in the past that Farmfoods seem to get a selection of different
Quorn products that I have never seen in Tesco or Iceland as an example,
Quorn Taco Mince, Quorn Family Beef Pie, Red Leicester and Onion Sausages
to name just a few!

I also shop here to buy quite a few branded names like Birds Eye, Findus,Ross ect..... at reduced prices that sometimes seem crazy!

When you enter a Farmfoods they have shelves over their freezers where
there are some bargains to be had, I recently purchased 3 jars of Knorrs
Beef Tonight Ale and Mushroom Sauce for £1 at only just over 33p a jar it is a fraction of the price anywhere else, the sell by date is April 2010.

They usually have brands like Knorrs, Blue Dragon, Heinz, Amoy, Jacobs ect..
which are at a really low price because they have a short sell by date,(normally a couple of months) but like the ones I got above you can get some which are longer!

My son is off to University soon, so I have mentioned to him to try and hunt out a Farmfoods as he could have himself some money!
Its isn't just a freezer shop as some people seem to think it has a good selection of all shopping goods especially non frozen items!

I'm looking forward to my next trip to Farmfoods to see what's in next that
I haven't tried!
