Advantages: Great prices and lots of offers on every week.

Disadvantages: Queues can sometimes be quite long.

I have recently started visiting my local Farmfoods after discovering they sell two 2-litre bottles of milk for £2.50.

What with having two toddlers, I get through on average one container of milk per day, so I was so happy to discover Farmfoods as they have cut my shopping bill by around £8 per week. Woo! *does the jerry springer "go jerry!" style arm movements*

In my local store, it is mainly pensioners that frequent, and the queues can be rather long (I counted 25 people at one point, snaking halfway round the shop) but I find it still worth visiting, if only for the factof the milk and the fact they seem to have great offers on maryland cookies - the other day they had 3 packs for £1.

They pack your bags for you in my store too, which is lovely.

I also buy the white potatoes from Farmfoods - 2 bags of about 12 large potatoes for 69p is a winner in my eyes, and they taste great too (and dont sprout or go off to quickly).

I am a total convert to Farmfoods, and nowadays I get the main bulk of my shopping online, and go to Farmfoods for the bits Ive forgotten - and the milk :)

Summary: Definitely worth a visit if you have a store near you.
