If you've ever been into a Farmfoods shop you will know how much of a depressing place it is. I know its cheap but its so rough around the edges its unreal. Not sure if its the same all over the country but our local Farmfoods have freezers with rust on the bottom and round the edges. They also have shelves which don't look like they've been ... FARMFOODS I'm sure that is not just me and my wife and who are feeling the pinch in today's economic climate We have found that we can certainly save a fair bit of money by shopping at our local Farmfoods. I choose to shop at Farm Foods with a friend last week and was surprised by their amount of deals. They sell branded products here at much cheaper prices than you would find elsewhere. These products include crisps, drinks and frozen food available to.Not many trolleys available though here and you would have to wait till one becomes ... Read the complete review

This is the supermarket you only go to when are totaly skint and we were last week. You can buy a lot of cheap and usualy unhealthy products such as burgers that shrink away to nothing when you cook them and I had the misfortune to purchase some lovely frozen chicken breasts which yes it did say on the packet they contained water but when I ... There's a Farmfoods near were we live. We've never actually been in, so we thought, let's do it! You only live once! On first appearances, it seems like a diluted version of Iceland. It all seems to be laid out in those familiar aisles, with the freezes on each side. I have to say, their selection is pretty poor in the frozen food ... Read the complete review

Farmfoods isn't somewhere I shop at often, although my sister loves the place so whenever I go shopping with her I always end up getting a few bits and pieces to stock up my freezer. It's cheap, I'll give them that. Much cheaper in fact than buying your frozen foods from the supermarket, although the quality isn't always there and ... Read the complete review

Have just been shopping at farmfoods about 6 months as I was looking to save money on the weekly shopping bill. I am very impressed with the store, it has a huge range of branded frozen food, such as birds eye, mccain, at cheap prices. I havent found anywhere yet that will beat farmfoods on the price of frozen food and I go every fortnight to ... Read the complete review

fantastic... I own and run a burger van, and i only ever use farmfoods bacon, sausage, chips, tomatoes plus many other products. They are cheaper than the local cash n carry for cans and bottles of pop, and are local to me. The steak cut chips are a big seller for me, and my customers love the jumbo sausage. Farmfoods are ideal for me as i ... Read the complete review

I love Farmfoods! I always look forward to going to Farmfoods, as there are always different products to buy. I particularly go for the vegeterain section , not that I am one, but I like to try different alternatives to meat sometimes. I was really pleased this weekend when I discovered that they had restocked on some ... Read the complete review

I'm a big fan of saving money where I can, and Freezer shops in general can be good, near us we now have just Farmfoods and Iceland though until recently we were lucky enough to have an independent frozen foods shop too. Farmfoods is to me a bit of a weird shop, at first glance it seems a bit like a cheaper version of Iceland, until ... Read the complete review

Farmfoods is a great place for the customer, but by them offering extremely low prices they have to sacrifice some drastic measures to be able to offer these prices. The biggest victim of Farmfoods are the loyal staff that work for them - these people work extremely hard and get absolutely n recognition for their work. I ... Read the complete review

For those that have read my profile and had previously looked at this review I have added a new paragraph to the beginning of this review based on my recent experiences of Farm Foods and I am open to change of opinion where I think something needs to be added or withdrawn - in this case although I had mentioned that they offered some very good ... I love Farmfoods! I have been shopping there for many years. Before Iceland cottoned on to the "everything in this cabinet £1" Farmfoods was doing it. They have a very useful pull out leaflet that lists all their prices delivered to local homes. If you are on a tight budget you can plan your shopping down to the last penny. You can then ... I really wish that the nearest Farmfoods wasn't quite so far away from where I live - it's quite a walk to the bus stop & as I don't drive it means a £6 taxi home. Unfortunately they don't offer a delivery service or online shopping facility so I pop in sometimes just to buy a few bits as I can't carry much heavy stuff. The other problem is ... Farmfoods is a small freezer shop. They have stores located in the cheaper shopping areas of most cities and large towns. Shops are set out with rows of freezers and a few shelves. The stores tend to be pretty stark and not as big as a supermarket. You can use a trolly but it isnt the kind of place you can do a full weekly shop as they ... Read the complete review

Having just read the last few reviews anyone would think Farmfoods is brilliant, well to the customers it is, cheap food that can't be beaten anywhere else on the high street...but think to yourself, at what cost to the staff ? People complain about staff in farmfoods, well its no wonder retail staff are on 4.80 per hour the assistant managers take home less than 220 pounds per week
so next time you moan about the staff at Farmfoods , just think twice!

I felt I had to write a review on Farmfoods as I swear by it in terms of value for money. As many of you will be aware, farmfoods has the slogan "The Frozen Food Specialists" probably because frozen food accounts for most of their stock. That said, I was there today and only purchased one frozen item, the rest of my shopping ... Read the complete review

I like this shop, I do. But whenever I enter the store, it smells. It is not a clean smell, it is indescribable but it's not very nice. This is the only problem I have with this store. I went in there some time ago just to have a little nosey. I am not really a person who will regularly go to Iceland and to all intents and purposes, ... Read the complete review

I feel I have to write something about Farm Foods as many people I know are unaware of it's existence, even though we have a large store in town. I love this shop! So it doesn't have the selection of larger supermarkets, and some of the members of staff look and act like they've been let out on day release from the local nick! What it ... I have often passed Farmfoods without even considering or thinking about shopping here.
