Compared to what Basingstoke was like 8 years ago this place has radically transformed the landscape and all for the better. The centre is light attractive and airy, and almost perceives a certain element of class. First off let's do the introduction: Festival Place is situated in the heart of Basingstoke. There is a massive, and I mean HUGE, multi-story car park that has a capacity of 2500 along with other smaller outdoor car parks on all sides of the centre. These range from short stay 30 minute parking to all day. Shopping in Basingstoke is now a fantastic experience due to festival place. It offers a variety of shops with everything you'll need. the layout is great and a little similar to the oracle. There are two levels which are easy to access with stairs, lifts or esculators. Festval place also offers stalls which change and vary every few months. They can be selling things like sunglasses, paintings or even once go karts! I think these are a brilliant idea and mean there is always something new to look out for. The toilet facilities are great and there are lots of toilets dotted about the shopping centre. If your a mum thou its a pain because you have to ... Read the complete review

I live in a small town, and while we do have a good town centre with a decent range of shops, occasionally I like to go somewhere a bit different for shopping and a change of scenery. Often, our choice is nearby town Basingstoke and the indoor shopping centre called Festival Place. It's a place I do like to go, especially at this time of year with all those Christmas decorations that give that festive feeling, and somewhere I'd recommend if you get the chance to visit! Although Festival Place is primarily a big shopping mall, the area also boasts a cinema, several restaurants, bars and cafes, a large multi-storey car park and access to Basingstoke town centre ...
