Just what bargains can you find in Filene's basement? I visited Boston last year and the original Filene's store and the "Basement". Recommended in verery travel guide going - Filiene is a Boston institution. The concept of Filene's is a simple one- once an item gets into her Basement - the price comes down and down until someone save the unfortunate clothing for a few dollars.
