Making your way in from the Fishergate entrance, you're quickly greeted by a large Primark store (also accessible from outside the centre), ideal for the bargain hunters amongst you, and a newsagent (Aleef News) selling basic snacks and drinks. The centre also houses a number of your more over-priced fashion outlets, an ... more

Premium Review Fishergate Shopping Centre: Somewhere to lose yourself (and everyone else!) (329 words)

Fishergate Shopping Centre, situated directly next door to Preston Railway Station, is as valuable as a walk-through shelter from the rain for those heading to Preston's main shopping street (named Fishergate, funnily enough) as it is a shopping centre in its own right. In this wonderful state-of-the-art shopping mall, you can shop for fashion or bargain hunt. There are two of Britains leading Catalogue Stores, a video games store, an electrical hardware store, gift shops, and a couple of nice restaurants to relax after a nice hard shop… All under one roof. Whenever I shop for Christmas or Birthdays, any age range, this is the first place I hunt, I can guarantee that I’ll be-able to find something suitable. To name a few well known shops located within the Fishergate Centre, there is a 3 story Deborhams, Dixons, Game, Argos, Index, Littlewoods and TK Maxx. Located on the ‘edge’ of Preston Town ...  Read the complete review
