French Connection (FCUK)Newest Review: ... will hold at the forefront of your wardrobe for a while, and really consider before you buy. That is unless you have cash to splash hehe! Their clothes are above the average high street prices, say £50-100 for a dress. They are all something quite special, very clean cut pieces often with a lot of embellishment. They releas pieces that often sell out and are featured in many magazines. ... more |

French Connection may have been known as more a label in the past, but now it can compete with the major fashion high street players. It's one of those stores that 'bulk up' the high street- you don't make it an essential visit but it's nice to pop into sometimes and you may find a gem. I don't visit too much because of the prices. Most of their pieces are investment pieces, the very special ones that you will hold at the forefront of your wardrobe for a while, and really consider before you buy. French Connection shops simply sell French Connection branded clothes- a brand that is very well known for high quality in production, design and materials. My experiences with the French Connection stores have all been very positive. The stores are well laid out with plenty of room so that nothing feels cramped. The only drawback to shopping at these stores is that their prices are fairly high. French Connection is a mans and womens shop specialising in fashion items. They stock a range of sizes but not larger sizes which cuts out a huge chunk of the population. French Connection stores are large and airy. They often have loud music playing and clothes are lined up very neatly round the edges of the room. I really dont like the way they fold the jeans and t-shirts. I can never fold them back the same way! Dressing rooms are spacious witht he attendant more than happy to change sizes and give opinion if you need it. The prices of the clothes are a little higher than most high street stores but the quality is slightly better. I ... Read the complete review

I never used to be a fan of French Connection, I always ignored the shop when walking past because I had not really heard much about the clothes. I was then in town with friends one day and we decided to go in and I was surprised to say a very well presented shop with lovely clothes. Very nice colours and not only clothes but they sold other things. The tops cost anything from £20 to about £60 which for some would be quite expensive but I personally don't think it's too bad. The trousers are a bit more expensive. I think the sizing in this shop is terrible, the size 10's look like a size 6 or 8 so that explains how off they are with trousers. For ...
