Game is a High Street store which sells Games consoles, accessories and of course games. Game sells brand new and pre-owned games and consoles, one of the good things about this is not only can you buy cheaper games but you can also sell and trade games in store for instant cash.

My flatmate and I have been saving for a Nintendo Wii for a while and with only £20 to go I decided to sell some unwanted DS games to get the additional cash we needed to purchase it. I went to Game on Wednesday and attempted to do so but was told (by someone who I would consider to be a typical 'Game person' -i.e 40 long greasy haired and clearly still living at home with mum) that I needed I.D (i'm 28 and work in the City - I don't think I look like a shoplifter/career criminal but hey! I guess they have rules). Anyway.. I went back today with passport (and as a rule I would suggest you take something with your name and address as well as i was asked for this -luckily I had a Tesco clubcard statement knocking around in my bag!) and my four games.

I was hoping for £20 for my four games - I was quoted £9.50 on Music Magpie and would have accepted anything better than this to be honest. Well imagine my surprise when the quite well mannered young man who served me told me they were worth £30! I was chuffed! The sale was relatively straight forward and he gave me my cash there and then. I went straight to Argos and bought our Wii! (The ones in game were pre-owned or more than £30 more than Argos so I didn't purchase there). I was really impressed with the whole transaction and as we buy more games for our Wii I would definitely do the same again once we have played games we want to trade.
