Advantages: competitive prices
Disadvantages: small shop
Game is a, erm, a shop that sells games! Oh, but I should say that they sell computer games, not board games, or mind games (as women seem to often play).
OK, this is really the premier store for computer games, and they also do consoles too. First up, they stock all the latest titles which is ideal. Their pricing is competitive, and they have a lot of good availability. For example, I found a game here that I couldn't get anywhere online as it was sold out. So they're very well stocked.
The shop is organised in terms of console, so Wii games take up one wall, XBOX games another etc etc.
My favourite bit about the shop is they way they have a whole section of used games. You can get a real bargain here (often half price), and the best thing is this also includes very recent releases, so it's clear the person who bought it hasn't played it much. If you keep your eyes open, you can get a real bargain here.
They also have a loyalty card which basically means you can get cashback on purchases, but it's not well advertised so you'll need to ask for it.
The staff are friendly, but don't tend to approach you - you need to go and find them.
The only down-side (at least in Plymouth) is that the shop is very small. When it's busy, you really do have a hard time getting around because there are just so many people crammed into such a tiny place. I certainly don't think it's very good for wheelchair users or those pushing a pram, so bear that in mind and leave the kids outside when you go in (joking of course!)
All in all this is a good store, as good if not better than online comparatives.
Summary: do it
