Advantages: Cheap pre-owned deals

Disadvantages: Cheaper online, not sealed, trade-in isn't really worth it

I read a few reviews before writing mine and saw quite a lot of reviewers saying that Gamestation has the best prices for games. I agree with this for in-store prices but compared to online sites like Amazon and Play, it really doesn't compete.

Nonetheless, Gamestation makes up for this with its Pre-owned prices which are very good and usually have a deal, such as "2 for £20". They offer used games for many different platforms, including the N64, Playstation One, Two and Three, the Xbox and Xbox 360 and more. You'll find it difficult not to find the platform you own.

As you may have guessed, you can trade in games. Personally, I would say to avoid this. You really won't get much money back and eBay is more profitable even though you have to pay small fees. They do offer the best trade in prices and will price match if you have a receipt so they do offer the best they can without affecting their own profit margins.

They offer a seven day refund policy which is very useful if you change your mind about the game, or if it was a gift. You can also buy Blu-Ray in there, so if you credit as a refund you'll still have other options.

My only real complaint with Gamestation is that they don't have sealed games. They are all opened and seeing as they have a seven day refund policy a lot of the games could have been played and then returned. I'm not sure why they don't have them sealed and I usually buy online instead now

Summary: A decent store but it doesn't pull me away from online sites
