Advantages: Not sure?

Disadvantages: Price & Selection

We were given a Gap gift token to the value of £20.00 for a present when the girls were born and I was quite chuffed, I don’t frequent the store often but had perception of it being quite trendy (probably through the intensive advertising campaign).

However, when I went to the shop to buy something (I was looking for two items as we have twins) I could hardly afford the cheapest bodysuit. I bought two pair of long john style pyjamas and had to put £12.00 towards the total cost.

I hope I don’t sound like a scrooge but I don’t think the selection was startling enough to justify the inflated price.

I love GAP clothes but they are way too expensive so I never buy them new (except as a gift as they always go down well). I do keep an eye on their sale rail as there are often better priced items there. We got a few presents from baby GAP when our oldest was born and they have worn better than any other brand, so you do get good quality for your money - but that doesn't help much unless your next child is the same sex, or you stick to unisex styles. For a cheap brand name for kids, I much prefer Next, whose prices are about the same as Adams.
