Newest Review: ... inbetween stage at the moment (almost 3 years old.) I have to mention that adorable Gap pyjamas; Both the fleecey grandad style which are adorable on little boys and make great Xmas presents and also the skinny fit long-john style adorned with various animals, cars, tractors etc. in lots of bright colours. Not cheap at £14.99 (I think the fleecey style are closer to £20) but it's worth checking out the sales as I've picked up a couple of pairs half price. Gap have also done a recent collabaration with Stella McCartney whose designs are now in store. There are some fab days of the week bodysuits which I would love if I was having another ... more

I decided to write a review on Gap after visiting the Birstall branch at the weekend. It was rammed, people were literally queuing out of the door and most of them waving a piece of paper in their hands... more on that later! I've shopped at Gap for a good few years, mainly using the Meadowhall or Birstall stores and one of the most redeeming factors is that you can clothe the whole family there. Baby Gap / Gap Kids I am gutted that my son is moving swiftly into the Gap Kids section now as opposed to Baby Gap, he really is growing up! Baby Gap is fab, lots of neutral colours and organic vests and bodysuits which are perfect as ...  Read the complete review

Gap is another easily recognisable brand and retailer which is on many high streets around the Uk and even the world. Originally from America it is classed as a clothing and accesories retailer. Currently there are well over 3000 gap stores worldwide with over 350 in the UK. In the Uk the stores are split into Gap (for adults) and Gap Kids and Baby Gap. The original founder Donald George Fisher passed away just a few days ago on September 27th. He founded the company with his wife Doris in 1969. The name gap is a reference to 'the generation gap" between baby boomers and their parents. They also wanted to fill a gap in the market with their products ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gap: Where to buy trousers that don't feel like pyjamas (243 words)

Personally I find shopping for clothes can be a very tiresome and teadious process especially when trying a range of clothes that simply don't fit or don't look good. Gap is a brand of clothing that I have purchased for many years as a result I have purchased all sorts of items from the Gap clothing range. Gap's main strength is perhaps its trouser range, from jeans, corduroy to khakis. In particular boot fit jeans are made from a strong fabric that will last at least a year and thick enough to keep you warm during the winter. On the other hand zara trouser just feel like pyjamas. While good quality, the standard retail price of Gap trousers and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I dont mind the GAP! (207 words)

Overview ------------ The Gap is a worldwide brand with stores in most large towns and cities in the uk. they also have a number of outlet stores across the uk. Style ------ Mostly casual/sports wear. I think this is where the shop lets itself down and cuts out a huge chunk of the market - i would like to see them do a really slick work wear range or party wear. Shop layout -------------- Quite funcy and clean looking. i do like having a look round. the clothes are always well organised and the range is usually bright and colourful (something you dont always see in shops). Staff ------- In my ...  Read the complete review

I have got to admit, before starting to write this review, I have had a quick flick through some of the other reviews for Gap: I just wanted to see what other people thought of it, and sure enough I was right - Almost everyone else thinks it's the bees knees. Well sorry, but not me. I've been inspired to write this after I went in there again today after a 'gap' (haha) of several years. The first time was around 3 years ago when I went to the large Gap store in Meadowhall Shopping Centre, as I had been recommended their dark denim jeans by a friend. I was with my daughter , who at that time was still in her major buggy (for those who ...  Read the complete review
