They used come in American sizes though, which you basically take four off the size you are, but I think they now do them in inches the same as Levis, so it's handy to know your size before you go. There are always loads of pairs of jeans to choose from too, they don't just sell skinny jeans like a lot of high street stores do now. The clothes at gap I find are fairly plain, but for everyday vests and t-shirts, this is definitely the best place to go. They fit really well, and they are well made so they don't shrink or lose shape when ... more

I am a massive fan of the Gap, due to the fact that I used to visit America when I was a child and we would always make sure we made a trip to the gap and bring back lots of clothes. There used to be a Gap in Telford and I actually worked there while I was at college and got great discount off the clothes, but it has shut down now and the nearest one to me is actually in the Bull Ring, so I don't get to go very often, so make the most of it when I can get to one. The Gap is a great store, and sells clothes and accessories. They have a mens, womens and a kids department which includes baby gap. Their clothes are always very good quality ... Although Gap is an American classic, I've never found myself getting that excited about the clothes - apart from in two areas - their curvy boot cut ladies jeans and their children's clothes. Like many women I've often struggled to find jeans that fit well. When I was in America last year we went to an outlet shopping mall and I tried on what felt like dozens of pairs of jeans. Then I discovered the curvy bootcut and was smitten. They fit my shape really, really well and I bought 2 pairs but with I'd bought more. They've lasted really well though - I've worn them most days for the past 6 months whilst on maternity leave and most weekends for a year before ... Read the complete review

I decided to write a review on Gap after visiting the Birstall branch at the weekend. It was rammed, people were literally queuing out of the door and most of them waving a piece of paper in their hands... more on that later! I've shopped at Gap for a good few years, mainly using the Meadowhall or Birstall stores and one of the most redeeming factors is that you can clothe the whole family there. Baby Gap / Gap Kids I am gutted that my son is moving swiftly into the Gap Kids section now as opposed to Baby Gap, he really is growing up! Baby Gap is fab, lots of neutral colours and organic vests and bodysuits which are perfect as ... Read the complete review

Gap is another easily recognisable brand and retailer which is on many high streets around the Uk and even the world. Originally from America it is classed as a clothing and accesories retailer. Currently there are well over 3000 gap stores worldwide with over 350 in the UK. In the Uk the stores are split into Gap (for adults) and Gap Kids and Baby Gap. The original founder Donald George Fisher passed away just a few days ago on September 27th. He founded the company with his wife Doris in 1969. The name gap is a reference to 'the generation gap" between baby boomers and their parents. They also wanted to fill a gap in the market with their products ... Read the complete review

Personally I find shopping for clothes can be a very tiresome and teadious process especially when trying a range of clothes that simply don't fit or don't look good. Gap is a brand of clothing that I have purchased for many years as a result I have purchased all sorts of items from the Gap clothing range. Gap's main strength is perhaps its trouser range, from jeans, corduroy to khakis. In particular boot fit jeans are made from a strong fabric that will last at least a year and thick enough to keep you warm during the winter. On the other hand zara trouser just feel like pyjamas. While good quality, the standard retail price of Gap trousers and ... Read the complete review
