Advantages: Different, good quality

Disadvantages: Can be expensive, but worth it

I started shopping in Gap a few years ago once I left sixth form and got a job. It is a little expensive for what you get but if you choose carefully, you can find some unique bits that will last you for ages.

I've bought various things, vests with bizzare patterns on, a grey waiscoat and a winter coat - all of which weren't cheap but have lasted me ages.

Most recently though I have used Gap to buy clothes for my son. I don't tend to buy him t-shirts or jumpers from there but he has had several pairs of Gap jeans and they are brilliant quality. The only thing we've found is an issue with their sizing - at 9 months he needed 18-24 month jeans, he is big but not that big! I've heard others have this problem too.

I also love Gap socks for children, they actually stay on their feet unlike the cheap flimsy ones you can buy in Tesco!

Overall I think with Gap, you get what you pay for. Quality.

Summary: Kids socks are brilliant!
