Shopping Areas in Glasgow in general ... are loads of shopping areas in Glasgow, too many to mention in one review, but I will discuss some of the main ones in the city centre. Firstly, you have the St Enoch s centre, which is a big glass building visible as you arrive at Central station. It is just off Argyle Street. It is full of shops like Boots, Burton, C & A as well as lots of cafes and food stalls. It s a good for a wander round, especially if it s raining outside. There is also the Buchan Galleries, just off Buchan Street, which is smaller than the St Enoch s centre, but still as good, which places like The Gadget store and Borders. Shopping Areas in Glasgow in general ... to Braehead ================ Now I don’t drive but I am on good terms with my ex who fortunately does…I hate travelling on public transport especially if I am planning to buy a lot! First of all It is very easy to get to Braehead by car, train, bus, even by boat if you so wish. By car – It is based on Junction 26 (eastbound) of Glasgow’s M8 motorway, Junction 25a provides dedicated westbound access roads to the centre and the eastern link road connect to the A8 dual carriageway. It is well signposted from all directions. There are over 6500 FREE car parking spaces so you can spend more money on the things that matter hehe. By bus – where I live there is a bus... Musical Instrument Shops in Glasgow ... played music since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, and living in a rather small town it was always hard for me to get my hands on musical supplies without venturing into a nearby city. Glasgow was usually the most convenient, and although it is a big city with no doubt lots of smaller music shops, I'm just going to talk about the two, in my opinion, main music shops in Glasgow. My favourite haunt is McCormack's on Bath street. I first bought something from here when I was about 8 and went to buy my first guitar, and have been a customer there ever since.
