Global Video

I recently joined Global video store in Saltcoats. It has to be said that the competition is a bit thin on the ground, but that is a by the by. We enjoy going to the store, whether to buy or rent. We always find something which will be of interest. The layout of the store can be a bit confusing. The separation of categories does not appear to apply. You just have to walk around and see what is around. With my poor eyesite this can be a challenge. Fortunately the staff are good and know their stock. If I miss an item then I ask. No longer hire videos from here as we took part inn the rent two new videos and get a thirs for free The third one i wanted was pretty old. When i got it home it turned out to be unwatchable. I tried it out on three video player and still a really bad static picture. When we took it back they said okay. No thank you for telling us or do you want a differnt one. We had already chosen more videos so we got them out and when we returned them toady they had put the video back on the shelf. Global Video is the bets video rental I know. It's good for it's selction of old and new videos. They sell big snacks at cheap prices, like a huge popcorn bag which is only 99p. They sell videos for £5.99 which is good for new videos. To rent a night it's £2.99 for two nights. They always have all the new releases in on time. The Global video shops are everywhere. I have to say this is my favourite video rental shop. The one near me is huge. It has recently changed shop and I was in the new one the other day. The videos are everywhere! The lay out of the shop is good. It is very well stocked but not cluttered or crowded in any way. It always has all the latest releases and plenty of copies. I think it is £3 for a 2 day hire of a brand new film. Obviously the price changes with the age of the film. You can get 5 olders releases for 7 days and it is £6. That is good. That's what we used to call Global when I and a several of my friends worked there a few years ago. Yes it's juvenile, but you try going in there every day. I thought I would write this from the point of view of an ex-employee so you can get the truth behind the smiley face of Global Video (have I made that sound sinister enough?)...
