GymboreeNewest Review: ... often get loads of pale blue or pale pink depending on the sex of your baby, but Gymboree offer loads of choice in other colours. The last time I went into my local branch(Windsor), I found the most scrumptious rails of they're new spring ranges. I must have spent a good 45 minutes trying to decide what to buy. Everything looked so nice, particularly the little girls ranges. However, my ... more |

Gymboree are an American company producing clothing for children from birth to preteens. The clothes they produce are brilliant quality. By this I mean that they wash well, and on close inspection, are made well. Buttons and poppers are sown on properly, stitching is neat and perfectly done, and fabrics used feel expensive. Gymboree's 'Layette' range for newborns to 6 months is great. I was lucky enough to have a few outfits bought for my son when he was newborn, and the attention to detail makes the outfits really fun. One pale blue all-in-one, had a little car pattern on it. The buttons were also shaped like little cars and it came with matching ... Read the complete review

The best thing about Gymboree are their socks with a pattern of grippy rubber stuff on the bottom. I'd like some of these myself as they stop your child from falling over nearly so much as they charge around on a wood, lino or tile floor. Its worth waiting for the sales as you can often get these socks for 50p/paid instead of a few quid for each one. The other clothes at Gymboree are pretty good quality, with some nice designs, but they are pretty expensive unless you wait for the sales. They don't sell many toys, but the ones they do stock are excellent. ... Read the complete review

I just love Gymboree. I only discovered this shop when they opened up at Bluewater, but now I just can't get enough of it. The shop is set out really well, and there are things for the kids to do so they don't get too bored while you are making up your mind. The clothes are of a really good quality, and there is a great selection. Yes, they are a little bit more expensive than other shops, but you get something a bit different, and if you go at sale time they have fantastic bargains. I've just bought my daughter a few outfits for next summer, because they were too cheap to turn down! I normally buy a size larger than normal, because the ... Read the complete review

I was very impressed with the range of clothing in Gymborree, but the prices were breathtakingly expensive for some of the things, however their salvation for me was their bargain rail, when they want to shift things they reduce the clothes down to very silly prices! The quality is second to none, these clothes are very well made and wash exceptionally well. But beware the sizings, they are on the stingy side! I bought a jumper which matched another companies jumper which was a size smaller! Some of the clothes are a bit twee but what impressed me most was the range of coats, they were excellent, practical but pretty, this is were my problem began. My ... Read the complete review

In the past Gymboree has been the type of shop that I have walked in to and then walked out of again. Many of the clothes are somewhat over the top in design, big on American styling and very expensive. But last month I popped into the store in the Trafford Centre, and I could not believe my eyes, the sale was amazing. I bought summer dresses for my baby girl , my friends baby girl, dresses for next summer, beautiful sundresses reduced from £18 to a fiver!! Shorts and t-shirt outfits reduced to £3 from £16, brilliant! The clothes have all washed extremely well and are such nice cotton that they don't even need much in the way of ironing, always a bonus!! ... Read the complete review
