Advantages: Good range, not expensive
Disadvantages: Quality differs
H&M is a fashion store with women's, men's and children's ranges, including a small shoe range and maternity.
I have never really bought much men's or kid's clothing from there so will focus on the women's section. H&M has two ranges - a young one and one aimed at slightly older women. I'm 26 and buy from both. H&M is pretty cheap, cheaper than Topshop but more expensive than Primark. You can get tops fro four or five quid but some things do cost about £50.
The quality is decent, not fantastic but most things I've had from there have lasted pretty well, aside from the odd hem coming down.
H&M is funny in that, you do have to search a little for items, some of it is a little quirky, but I like that. I find the sizes to be what I expect. Sometimes, I can go in and love everything and other times - there's nothing! I find the range does vary a bit in different cities.
It's usually very busy on a Saturday so you will have to queue for tills and fittings. H&M have quite a good accessories range but sell only a few shoes.
I would say it's great for basics and also very 'fashion' items that you will only wear for a few months. Worth a visit.
Summary: Worth a look at H&M
