I am always on the look out for a bargain and H&M is one of my favourite shops. They sell women’s clothes and some of the larger branches also sell children’s clothes too. My mum hates this shop, but if we are out shopping together and passing a H&M shop I will always drag her in for a mooch around.

H&M was first established in Sweden in 1947 and they now have shops all over Europe including the UK. H&M stands for hennes & mauritz who first opened the shop.

They always have a lot of stock, although not all of it is always to my taste. Sometimes I go in and cannot find anything that I like and other times I could quite easily buy everything in there if I had enough money.

I think that the clothes in this shop would appeal to most ages, because of the large variety. They sell clothes for every occasion, casual, work wear and going out. Most of the clothes that I have brought from H&M have been just casual clothes.

H&M often have a sale on where you can buy two tops for £5 or other similar offers. The clothes in this shop are cheap compared to some other shops. You can easily find a pair of smart trousers for around £16.99 or a nice cardigan for £11.99. I like their t-shirt style tops which they sell for around £3.99 and they can easily be dressed up and suitable to wear for work. This is great shop if you are shopping on a budget but you still want to look good.

Many of the clothes that they sell come in a variety of colours, and the branch that I visit mostly is arranged into coloured areas. I have noticed that the main colours that they stock are black, white, pale blue, grey, khaki and pink. But some of their clothes are also available in much brighter colours that I will not wear. So if you see a nice top in the white section, the other coloured sections will probably stock it too. The layout of the shop mak
e sit easy to find you way around.

I have noticed that there are not many staff in H&M. There are usually one or two people working on the till, depending on the queue, and one by the dressing rooms, they always look smart and happy and I have never needed to ask for any help from them, but even if I did need to I doubt there would be anyone available on the shop floor to help me out.

The stock depends on the season. In the winter you will find that they are selling coats, jumpers, thick cardigans, skirts, trousers hats and scarves. In the summer they are selling shorts, strappy tops, thin jackets and cardigans. There are things that they sell all year round like smart trousers and blouses that you could wear for work. You will usually find that the sizes range from a size 8 up to a size 18. H&M also sell accessories including hair clips, sunglasses, bags, belts.

The changing rooms are not very spacious but I have found that they are always clean and tidy, which I think is important.
I have never had to return anything to H&M but they do have a returns policy and the details are on show by the till.
The quality of the clothes is very good. I have some clothes that I have had for a few years and I still wear them now, they have lasted really well. They do not loose their shape after a couple of washes
The carrier bags that they provide are quite smart too. Is there anything in this shop that is not good? No, I have not found anything.

H&M have some great offers in the children’s section too. They sell baby clothes, young girls, young boys, 7-14 girls and boys. When looking around there children’s section you will see the wide range of clothes that they sell. They have sports wear, casual shorts, t-shirts, and party clothes available in all the different age ranges. These are all great value too. You will easily be able to find a bargain in the childrens section with t-shirts starting at just £1.99. The chil
drens clothes are smart and both you and your children will love them.

Like I said before if you want to look smart but are shopping on a budget then I recommend this shop to you. They do tend to change their stock quite regularly.

They also have a website www.hm.com

I see loads of their clothes in magazines, but there isn't one near me. I wish there was.

Sounds like a good shop but I think there's one near me, I've never heard of if anyway. I'll take a look at the web site.
