Advantages: Really hot on customer services

Disadvantages: High prices which don't always compare favourably

If you are travelling then Halfords can help you in some form or another , be it GPS systems , in car entertainment like TV's and CD players or baby seats and roof boxes, you want it they probably have it. Not just for cars either, they have camping and caravanning equipment, bicycles and trailers, car maintenance and even toys and games.
Halfords are big on customer relations and offer a very handy advice centre and frequently asked questions sections on their internet web site. Along with this they also offer fitting services in store for your GPS systems, CD and DVD players and also for child and baby car seats too, very useful and a must where safety is concerned.

I found the web site easy to find my way around and they impressed me with the nifty gadgets for in my car.

The only real down side is the price, it seems always on the steep side to me and the prices are not always next to the items you are viewing so it makes them harder to compare, but it is clearly all high quality so I suppose you pay for what you get and of course their reputation.
