Advantages: great store and good quality
Disadvantages: a little pricey
Halfords is a store me and my hubby use quite a lot for bits and pieces for our car and bike.
They have stores situated around the country so you are never far away from one and have specialist staff at most stores who can fit a lot of the products they sell for you if you dont want to do it your self.
Halfords stock a wide range of equipment ranging through stereo equipment of all types, alarms, immobilisers, sat nav systems, alloy wheels, pritty little bits for your car like gear selecters and hand break covers in varying designs and colours, number plates, paints, manuals for repairs etc.
Aswell as all of the above they also sell a small selection of motor bike items but this is very limited, they sell car seats for children but they are priced a lot higher than other shops but do have some great seats to match specialist interiors like bucket seats.
Halfords also sell push bikes for adults and children aswell as all the safety equipment to go with them.
In recent years we have began to buy our window wiper blades from halfords as they are a lot better quality than other stores, we also brought a stereo from them which came with a brilliant guarantee, it was a removable face stereo and when the car got broken into and the back of the stereo stolen all i had to do was produce a crime number, the box and the front off my stereo and halfords gave me a new one made by the same company but the latest model for free, cant get service better than that.
Halfords is well worth having a nosey around for any motoring enthusiast.
Summary: a good store and good quality
