Too expensive for what they are (Halfords)

Halfords is a shop that sells a lot of car accessories, alongside bikes and bike accessories. They also do manual work, such as fitting bike racks on cars or fitting accessories onto bikes. They do some very good road bikes, such as boardman and carrera which although they are both Halfords brands, are really good brands. They also do a very good deal which they call a bike care plan. For this, you pay £15 for the year and they will do all the repairs you need on your bike, all you pay for is the parts. I have done this already and it has proved useful, since I got a free gear service which I needed.

However, besides this, I find that most of their stuff is not too great and very overpriced. As I mentioned in another review, I have used amazon rather than shop here since it tends to be quite a lot cheaper. I will probably continue to use this store for the small things however for anything which costs more than £5 I am likely to take the time to try and find it cheaper elsewhere.

Their staff seem t be very nice which I like but their prices tend to be just too high for me. Not somewhere where I would choose to shop I don't think given the choice, unless I just want a few cable ties or a pump adapter.

Summary: Just good for the tiny things
