I called Harvey's, told them the condition and the fact that it had not even been sat on to be told an independant furniture person would have to come out to examine it. He stated one leg needed repaired and all four needed strenghtened. It has been two weeks now of calling them and them not calling back. Understandably she does not want it repaired or a small discount, nor does she want another one of the same, nor does she want to choose something else from them and wait another 12 weeks for delivery. My eighty-three year old mother bought an easy chair from Harveys, they delivered it put the legs on, left and on closing the front door the chair fell over on to it's side. One leg was completely broken the others loose. I called within 15 mins of them leaving it with her, their delivery men knew fine well what condition they had left the chair in stuffing polyethene in the socket and jamming the broken leg in. I'm appalled by the customer care that is offered at Harveys. Our brown leather three seater sofa is just over two years old and has started to peel from one of the seams -much to my disgust. After sending in photographs and filling in a complaints form, Harveys have claimed that it is not a manufacturing fault and have washed their hands of any responsibility. I expected this expensive sofa to last at least ten years and am really disappointed with the quality of the settee and the poor customer care. DO NOT BUY FROM HARVEYS!!

we had a suite delivered the other day whilst they were unloading the suite they knocked my sons motorbike over which fell on to a sea kayak £2000 worth of damage to both items at the time they appologiesed for knocking the bike over and they would report it when they got back. We telephoned the office and told them of the damage which they replied they had no knowledge after a few hours i got a phone call to say the manager is going to call round to look at the damage his answer was yes you can see whats happened here i will inform our insurance company. The next day the insurance company telephoned to say they do not except liability and this claim could take 9 months . Read the complete review

We ordered 2 sofa and a dinning room table and chairs 9 months ago. So far we've not received undamaged versions of either. Three times they have tried to deliver two sofas and on each occasion both have been damaged. On each occasion replacements have been ordered and taken another 3 months to be delivered. Meanwhile, or table and chairs are sat in a warehouse and Harveys won't deliver as we haven't yet paid the full balance. The saga has been long and very complicated so I won't do the detail, suffice to say that the customer service has been the worst I've ever experienced. Order two sofas, I bought a new build house living room on first floor, went to Harvey's with dimensions and concerns that it would be difficult to get a sofa to fit, was sold a sofa which is really nice and was promised it would come separate so would go upstairs and be assembled, well it came as one, contacted customer service and was told its my own fault if does not fit because it states this in the t's and c's. Hmmmmmmm, how does this work then, they sell me a sofa that they say will fit, then it does not fit, so now it's the customers fault. Oh they have my money. Appalling service, they lie to get a sale and once they have your money they don't care , never ever again will Harvey's get any of my money
