Advantages: Good variety of stock

Disadvantages: Offer really good saving on some of the stock but not all

I was interest in buying a new dining table and chairs. I had visited several shops and eventually went to Harvey's in Macclesfield where I saw a Toulouse dining table with six chairs priced at 599. Knowing that the sales were due to start I decided to wait, although one of the sale assistants stressed that they only had a limited number left and didn't know if they would be getting some more in. Well guess what - the sales started and the table and chairs I was interested in was in the sale at 599. Exactly the same price that I had previously seen it advertised for. They had reduced the sideboard to go with the table to 399 which is a big saving but can't help feeling that the company were not passing on the sale prices they were advertising on all stock. When I enquired about the price I was told that it was one of the items that had already been reduced before the sale started. I haven't bought the table and chairs.

Summary: Disappointed the table I wanted was not reduced significantly in the sale as the sideboard was.
