If you enjoy antique hunting then the Heanor Antiques Centre is the place that you really must head for. This centre only looks like an ordinary shop from the outside, but inside is a treasure trove of antiques. The centre is situated on a corner close to the town centre of Heanor and can take a little bit of finding on your first visit. There is a free car park behind the centre, but beware because this is adjacent to a pay and display car park, make sure you get in the free part, or by a ticket. In the antiques centre there are four floors all brimming with a terrific variety of antiques ranging from small jewellery pieces to quite large items of furniture. ...
