If we are passing that way we will make a point of calling into the Heanor Antiques Centre for a browse. There is parking on Heanor Market Place which is only a couple of minutes walk away but we have always managed to park either in the tiny parking area that actually belongs to the business or in the neighbouring car par that is a Pay and Display council car park. If you are using the Pay and display car park then make sure and allow yourself plenty of time, if you enjoy looking at collectables then there is certainly plenty to look at. If you enjoy antique hunting then the Heanor Antiques Centre is the place that you really must head for. This centre only looks like an ordinary shop from the outside, but inside is a treasure trove of antiques. The centre is situated on a corner close to the town centre of Heanor and can take a little bit of finding on your first visit. There is a free car park behind the centre, but beware because this is adjacent to a pay and display car park, make sure you get in the free part, or by a ticket.
