Other than just music and things they sell other little bits like bags with bands on them, hats, t shirts and badges. They often have live bands playing there aswell which is always good to watch. The stores are usually pretty big with more than one floor and very spacious although at sale time and christmas time they get pretty packed and the ques are very long as they do have some realy good bargains. Well HMV has now turned into Zavvi but still its as good as it ever was. HMV sells all the latest albums , DVDS and computer games and it also has a good range of all the old classic stuff aswell. HMV is a store that specailises in selling music and DVDs. My local store in the the shopping centre, and is huge, but it is large long ways, but width ways, it is quite small, and can get quite crowded. The products that they sell are mainly CDs, DVDs and video games, pretty much everything to do with the entertainment industry. It doesnt matter what the genre of the item is, you are certain to find it in HMV, all sorts of music, from pop to rock, and dance to r n b. When it comes down to DVDs, they sell both films and DVDs of television shows, and at the minute I am currently watching the West Wing series that I bought in HMV for £50, when it should have been £200. ...

With Woolworth's and Zavvi having filed for administration over the last month, HMW seem to be the last standing physical shop retailer. Not only are they successful as in the number of stores they still have but also on the Internet. I haven't been to my local HMV for quite a couple of years, but i have purchased many items from HMV from the internet. On the whole i have always been satisfied with the service i remember. I remember that the staff where helpful, the store was neat, well organized and well lit not to mention that a great selection of CDs, DVDs and Books where present. I love those HMV bags they give you as well, they're always so ...
