Advantages: Numerous items, Bargain prices, Enjoyable to shop in

Disadvantages: You may spend too much money and time!

HMV is a high street store (as well as being online) that sells a variety of products, such as : Music, Film, Games Consoles and Games, Books, T-Shirts.

The sizes of the stores vary depending on which particular one you visit, I personally enjoy the larger stores best. The staff in store are also very friendly, just the other day I went in and asked if I could read the instruction manual inside the sealed box and the staff member was helpful in this.

Upon entering a store one would normally hear music being played, this is great as it allows one to browse without getting bored.
I have also found myself liking the music so much one time that I went and found the artist whom I'd never heard of and purchased an album! Spontaneous decision.

The products in store vary with a wide range of genres for both music and film. This is a big advantage in my eyes as a lot of other places to purchase these items only have mainstream.

Prices in store are quite competitive where you can get DVD from around £3 and there are often numerous sales on or offers such as 4 DVD for £20.

Another bonus is that the store sells a range of books, at competitive prices, often cheaper than the price marked on the book itself. I have picked up many a book whilst at HMV and I continue to look for more!

Overall it is a great store that I thoroughly enjoy going to, finding myself spending hours browsing around without getting bored.
