Newest Review: ... I do my Tesco on-line shop and pick up as many of the things as I can in there then just order the things that are left from Tesco. You can't get fresh products like bread or fruit but can save a few pound each week on toiletries, cleaning products and many other things. MY USUAL BARGAINS - The first section on entering my local home and bargain is the toiletries where I usually pick up a ... more

Once a week me, my mum and my sister have a walk into out local shopping centre, I say shopping centre but that many shops closed down there recently that is can hardly be called that any more however we do still enjoy having lunch in the little café nearby then having a walk around home and bargain and more often or not we come out with a bag full whether we intended to buy something or not. I know that some stock varies from store to store but depending on size they all have more or less the same categories of stock most with products that are a fraction of the price that they are sold for in other shops, my local home and bargain stocks, toiletires, ...  Read the complete review

I regularly shop at home bargains so thought I would share why I love this store. I have shopped in three different Home Bargain Stores and they all have slight differences but the purpose of this review I will concentrate on the store I use most in Heanor. It is easy to access and has a free car park which does get busy at times but I have never been unable to park. The entrance has a row of special offers which are called star buys in this store. I always check these out as they often include food items and things I would regularly buy anyway. The store sells so many different items from Toilettes, baby items, Stationary, ...  Read the complete review

Home and Bargains has only just come to our town. I have used it before but further afield, now I have only to travel three miles and Im there. Its a belting little shop (well biggish shop) with a massive selection of everyday items plus furniture (ie:-shelves, computer desks, bathroom cupboards and lots lots more). Usually these are in flatpack form but the prices are amazingly affordable and the quality not bad at all. I am sitting typing this review on a H&B computer desk and its every bit as stylish and well built as its much more expensive rivals. I spent a lovely hour or two today erecting and using my brand new stand-in greenhouse (clear ...  Read the complete review

Home Bargains was established over 30 years ago by Tom Morris. Since opening the first store in Liverpool, Tom has grown the business organically to become one of the biggest privately owned companies in the UK. Home Bargains does exactly what it says on the tin. It is a shop filled with bargains. My partner drinks Lucazade for football and I get it from there and pay 50p a bottle, Pepsi Max 25p per can. It is full of branded products at excerllant prices. Examples of what this shop sells are: Toiletries, household cleaning items, toilet rolls, medicine, mirrors, pictures, vases, flowers, sweets, food, pop, wine and beer. Everything they sell ...  Read the complete review
