Advantages: Cheaper that highstreet stores
Disadvantages: Could offer more products
Home Bargains was established over 30 years ago by Tom Morris. Since opening the first store in Liverpool, Tom has grown the business organically to become one of the biggest privately owned companies in the UK.
Home Bargains does exactly what it says on the tin. It is a shop filled with bargains. My partner drinks Lucazade for football and I get it from there and pay 50p a bottle, Pepsi Max 25p per can. It is full of branded products at excerllant prices.
Examples of what this shop sells are: Toiletries, household cleaning items, toilet rolls, medicine, mirrors, pictures, vases, flowers, sweets, food, pop, wine and beer.
Everything they sell is at a reduced price. The only let down about this shop is that they do not get the same things in all the time so when you see it you need to buy it as there is no guarentee that they will be there next time you go.
There are more and more of these shops being opened and in my local area (Durham) there are now two.
This is a fantastic shop for stocking fillers at christmas and also kids parties for pass the parcel.
There are many suppliers of this shop including: Glade, persil, Nivea, Kleenex, Kellogs, Pot noodle, MB, Lego, Hot Wheels, Barbie, Femme, Pure Baby, Walkers, KP, Cadbury, Guinness, RedBull, Fosters etc.
With the cresit crunch on at the minute this is definately a shop to visit
