Advantages: Well laid out stores and most importantley cheap prices

Disadvantages: can spend more than you want to

Home bargains what a great shop especailly usefull during these credit crunch times

We have now got one in the next town on the small retail park , its fatal to think your just going to go in for a look as they have such a broad range of products that are much cheaper than in other stores you cant help but think oh i need shampoo , toilet paper,kitchen roll or gifts for upcoming birthdays etc

They stock a vastrange of products that are always available such as cleaning products toiletries, along with sweets and drinks much cheaper than at the supermarket . I always buy their wet wipes fo 59p for 80 theyre just as good as the brand names ,as well as their good range of occasion cards at 29p each

They also sell an ever changing range of mainly household products that are great value for money some of the things i have bought was an indoor clothes drying stand for only £7 which sells for £20 elsewhere. Ive just bought Wwe easter eggs which comes with a free gift for £1.49 each across the road at asda theysell them for £5 each what a massive profit stores like asda must make if Home bargains can sell items like this for more than 2/3rds cheaper

Home bargains dont have sales like other stores as they offer greatley reduced products thoughout the year they all seem to be on retail parks so as long as you have a car its no problem getting all your purchases home


My advice if you have one near you pop in and stock up on household essentails and the odd luxury, but dont spend more than you can afford as theres so much in there to tempt you
