The home bargains branch i am reviewing is in northampton on st peters square. Basically home bargains is a bit like the pound shop and 99p store full of cheap random items which is in my opinon is generally 60% tat and 40% bargains on a good day ................... on a bad day it could be 99% tat but there is always a bargain to be found like last week i picked up russell brands hardback book (yes i no but my sis in law loves him and i got it as a wrap up for her) for 49p. They sell toiletries, gift sets, toys, household items such as toilet rolls, kitchen roll, bleach, air freshner etc, bathroom accesories, pjs, socks, underwear, dressing gowns, food items such as crisps, chocolates, sweets, rice, pasta, tins and teabags, coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks and alcohol and they are generally cheaper than supermarkets so you cant go wrong there can you, if you havent been in before and live near one then pop in sometime it may be slightly higgedly piggledy and the checkout staff may be slow but personally i enjoy having a scout round from time to time
