Great for Frozen Food (Iceland)

Iceland is not a shop that I would choose to do my regular shopping in for the simple reason that the choice of food is so limited because they specialise in frozen food (hence the name!). They do sell some fruit and vegetables and other non-frozen food but as you would expect for the most part they do sell frozen food.
If you have the means and patience to shop in more than one shop then I would certainly recommend getting your frozen food from iceland. I've found it much cheaper than other supermarkets for frozen food. They always seem to have buy one get one free offers and other special offers on so I find that I can always get a bargain. Even without the offers prices are very competitive.
I would recommend this shop to vegetarians in particular because they have the biggest selection of vegetarian frozen foods and ready meals that I've found anywhere.
Another good thing about iceland is that they tend to have quite wide aisles so wheechair users can access the shop and it never feels overly crowded.
I haven't found the staff to be overly friendly or helpful but they haven't been particularly rude either. I've often shopped in the one in East Finchley and found the staff have very little about them, they all seem pretty unhappy in their jobs to be completely honest. But as I said they're not particularly rude either.

Summary: cheap but not so cheerful
