Advantages: Some great bargains

Disadvantages: Not fresh foods, not always local ingredients

Iceland is a great foodshop that mostly does frozen goods however there are some unfrozen goods in store as well like sweets and noodles and drinks.

Stores are quite small in size normally compared to Tescos and other stores, though there is still some great savings to be made in store. They have some great bargains like ready made frozen meals that can cost as little as £1.

They also have a great range of party foods in store, which are perfect for when you are having a gathering, they are reasonably priced and cook from frozen, so you dont have too much hassel or stress when you are trying to get things ready, just pop it in the oven and wait for it to cook.

Iceland have trolleys and baskets provided for customers and the staff are friendly and helpful in the store near me.

The only con about this store is that some people may not really like to cook frozen foods as they arent fresh and could be processed alot, fresh foods often taste better and more more healthy as a whole. Meat in some of the dishes isnt local and this could also be a problem for people as supporting local farmers is important. Though some frozen foods are local in this store, so it is better to read the labels in store to find out about the ingredients.

Iceland overall is a good store to pop into and get some bargains on frozen foods and more, they seem to be competitively priced with Tescos and I have even noticed that there are quite a few products that are cheaper than Supermarkets like Tescos. If you dont mind frozen foods then Iceland is a great store for you to find some great deals.
