Advantages: an opportunity to take prozac to calm you down!

Disadvantages: Stress and possible heart attack!

IKEA is known for relatively cheap furniture and HORRRRRIBLE DELIVERY!

If you buy items and use IKEA delivery you are about to experience one nightmare like no other!

One of of a few things will happen (or all if real unlucky!)

- They will be a no show! You took half day off for nothing!
- They will show but refuse to take furniture up (if you live in a flat on above ground floor) excuse parking space not big enough (even though you can park a jumbo jet in it!)
- Box damaged (common) which means calling customer service and having to deal with the crappy delivery all over again.
All above happened to me an 3 weeks later I am still fighting with them and IKEA to get my damned thing delivered!

The delivery company seems to specialize in hiring low IQ rude incompetent individuals who half the time can hardly speak english!

I do not blame them though .. I blame IKEA for partnering with such rubish company. I also blame IKEA for not telling customers upfront that their delivery is outsrouced and that IKEA is not responsible in anyway for their actions/behaviour!

AVOID IKEA at all cost if you are going to use their delivery.

I will never shop at IKEA due to the really really bad experience I had with their delivery and how IKEA failed to deal with it.

Summary: Horrible delivery by IKEA!
