We have bought a few toys from ikea and they are always wonderful value for money. We bought a huge draught excluder stripey cat thing which our little boy loves (its called rivig by ikea). It states from 18 months on the label but it is a fluff toy and I think its more a warning if your child has a tendency to put things in their mouth all the time.

We also bought a fantastic maze for £10 (the bead type) and seriously had our eye on a wooden trike for £12.

They're not fancy and all singing all dancing toys but basic good toys that will appeal to children and your budget.
