Jane Norman

Newest Review: ... podgy for what you are wearing - however this was not the case. Also a word to the wise - when you buy jeans from Jane Norman - the dye WILL leak. Make sure you turn them inside out and wash them alone or with other dark jeans. As I ruined a whole load of washing this way! I realise it seems like I am running down Jane Norman a lot. So please remember I have also had a great deal of purchases that have stood the test of time, some that have been constantly worn and washed and ironed etc and have not disintegrated like said coat or cardigan. I would recommend Jane Norman for the one off clubbing outfits, party dresses or special occasio... more

Premium Review Jane Norman: Hot Clothes - Cool Price (575 words)

Jane Norman is a very popular high street fashionable clothes shop. The clothes are not cheap, but they are affordable. You can spot a Jane Norman clothes item a mile away, they are different from your other shops (Next, New Look etc) but do not stand out in a bad way. I have been shopping at Jane Norman for years, but recently I have become slightly disappointed! I bought a coat from there last November, which was quite expensive in my opinion (£90) and I have had a few months wear out of it. Within the first couple of days, one of the buttons fell off (there were only four in total!) but I didn't think anything of it, I just sewed it back on ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review It's A Love/Hate Thing With Jane! (575 words)

Now I do love Jane Norman even though I rarely have enough money to buy anything from the shop unless it's a £5 pair of socks or something! But they do sell some beautiful clothes that are of the highest quality! Unfortunatley Jane Norman have not realised that the average sized birtish woman is now a size 14 and they dont really cater for larger women or women like myself with bigger boobs! Great if your a skinny girl with a flat chest though!! Shop's History: Jane Norman is an english clothing company first founded by Norman Freed and now has hundreds of stores accross the country. Aimed at women and teenagers it sells a variety of good ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Jane Norman: beautiful but pricey clothes! (338 words)

Jane Norman is tricky for me because I am in two minds about whether I love or hate this shop as there are some really strong points like the style of clothing and the choice but the negatives are the prices and the sizing so I am really stuck. First I think I will go with the positives: Styles - They have some really elegant styles available, beautiful tops dresses, with lovely necklines and really flattering shapes. They manage to make their neutral browns and greens section very stylish and sophisticated. I would love to wear their clothes everyday and I would say that I would wear 90% of th clothes they hae because they are just beautiful. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Jane Norman (197 words)

Jane Norman is a womenswear shop that designs clothes particularly for smaller sized women. The dresses in Jane Norman don't usually fir well unless you have tiny boobs. I do not. On the other hand there are quite a few formal dresses that are so pretty that it's worth trying to squeeze all parts of yourself into them - just in case you get a good fit. The jewellery and accessories are a bit all over the place in style and none are really very appealing. The selling point in Jane Norman, for me, is their range of tops. These are elegant and beautiful, often with flattering necklines and creative prints and designs. Typically, a top ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Jane Norman: Alright for teeny boppers (339 words)

As with other reviewers, Jane Norman was my favourite shop when I was in my teens. It was like the Gucci of our high school and everyone wanted a JN bag or something with the brand on it! Nowadays I just walk right past it and very rarely set foot in it. My first issue with the shop is its persistant use of the same prints and styles. If you see someone wearing a dress or top from there it's pretty much guaranteed you would be able to tell where they got it from. And is it just me or are the window displays pretty much always the same! You can spot a JN dress at 20 paces, it's ridiculous! The bags are another thing. I would never be caught with one of those ...  Read the complete review
