Advantages: Clothes were ok I suppose
Disadvantages: Cramped and annoying music
I paid a visit to Jane Norman today in Bath, this is my view on the high street boutique type shop for teenage girls and young women...
When I first walked into the shop, it was a difference from being outside. The room was way too cramped and small, with an awfully annoying song playing too loudly. It was really cheesy and put me off having a look around instantly. I was about to leave the shop, when I spotted a nice item of clothing. This drove me to prolong my shopping time in this shop about twenty seconds more.
The clothing in store didn't seem that up to date with the fashion scene, which I thought was rather strange. From looking around the shop I could see that there was a lot of saucy, going out clothes, mostly tops and dresses with thick belts on.
Although the selection of clothes was not great, the way they were arranged was good. They were put organised into colour groups, which I noticed was a better idea.
Navigating around the shop was somewhat difficult due to the cramped room. People stood around casually browsing, whilst I was trying to squeeze past.
Most of the shop featured clothes, and then at the back were those black handbag type things, with different blingy patterns on them. I thought it was pretty boring.
The staff did what most staff do, serve people and chat to each other.
So, overall, Jane Norman was worse than I had expected it to be...cramped, lousy clothes and annoying music.
Thanks for reading.
Summary: I don't like it, but many others love it
