Advantages: Feminine designs and style. Dresses are good value

Disadvantages: Sizes on the smaller side. Prices high in comparison to quality of some clothing

High street store selling women's clothes aimed at females aged 16-25.

The styles are sexy feminine and trendy. I find they are tailored towards slimmer people. Sizes go up to a size 16 however my friends who are this size wont buy from Jane Norman as their comments are that the clothes are just badly cut and made to be worn on the tighter side because some of the tops are a bit low cut and short in length. I think this is down to the fabric of many items as its often clingy or stretch fit.

Jane Norman sizes are smaller than the average high street shops. My advice is that in Jane Norman you do need to try on clothes as the sizes vary and are not the same as other high street stores andvary between the product/ design. The size 8 dresses fit me perfectly however in average high street shops I'm a size 6 both tops dresses and trousers. In Jane Norman I am a 6-8 in trousers and on the top I have to buy a size 10. I have even bought top in a size 12 on one occasion ; thats how much the sizes vary in Jane Norman.

Jane Norman's strong point has to be the dresses, sleek, feminine and flatter curves in the right places. You can pick up some nice work wear but because of the Jane Norman style some of the skirts and dresses can be a bit short and tops low cut!! . Working in an office where style is limited tied in with an abundance of men , it just attracts the wrong sort of attention. I learnt quickly Jane Norman clothing was not for my workplace. Not for those that want to hide in the background!

You will look to pay around £40 for a dress and around £30 for a top. Dresses I think are priced fine but tops are priced on the higher side (especially for the amount of material you get in many cases). I have not had an issue with the quality but some of the clothes in store seem to be made from cheap looking material and are not worth the price

I love this store even better that you can now shop online. The style and range isn't for everyone but they suit my taste and figure fine!

Summary: Young , trendy feminine clothes on the high street and now online.
