Advantages: nice clothes and good quality

Disadvantages: can be expensive and clothes are quite similar to each other

Jane Norman is a fashion store its aim is probably for late teens to mid twenties. It has a range of clothes from going out to normal daywear. It is quite expensive for somethings a t-shirt maybe about £20. Other things however are wel worth the money, it has a great range of bags these are from about £5 for a black shopper to about £30 for a good sized handbag.

The coats and dresses are also good value a coat is about £80 but are well made they are fashionable but not too 'on trend' that you could only wear it that year. They are well made out of quality fabrics and are well fitted and look well worth thier money. The last aswell so are a good investment.

They have a good range of dresses however they usually tend to be different colours of the same thing. I would say they have about 5 new styles come out then they 3 different colours of the item. I also find that if you buy a dress from here you can guarantee someone else will be wearing it. Thier tops are also very similar to the dresses.

You can usually tell something is from Jane Norman by the sytle and pattern they use, although if you like people knowing you have spent quite a bit on your clothes this is a good thing.

A major problem I have found is the sizing they label them as up to a 16 although it is probably a 14. Usually I take a 10 in tops but here I have never been able to fit into one less than a 14. This is very annoying and does sometimes put me off buying things from here as you need to try on so many sizes to find the one that fits.

The stores themselves are nicely laid out and the counters are usually shiny black with silver jane norman on them it does look a very fashionable shop. The changing rooms are quite big, although usually the curtains open into the shop I don't really like this and am quite paranoid about making sure the curtain is closed!

They are usually in big towns and cities and very often you can ind a smaller one inside Debenhams.

There clothes do cost a bit and some items are more worth the money than others however if you are lucky enough to find what you want in the sale you can get some real bargains as a lot of things go for half price.

If you want fashionable lothing it is worth looking in here but only if you don't mind trying a few items on if you just like to pick up your size and go then this shop probably isn't for you.

Summary: worth looking around
