Jeffrey Rogers

I don't understand why they (Rogers & Rogers) call their clothes plus-size and they advertise on size 10 models. Isn't it ridiculous? I'm size 16 and Rogers & Rogers clothes don't fit me at all. Maybe really made for size 10 only!!! Rogers & Rogers managers and directors - please visit Evans or M&S and their plus size ranges!!! That may give you some idea.

I would consider Jeffrey Rogers tobe what I call 'Highstreet designer' the reason being that this shop is nicely set out, the appearance is classy and it is not like the typical highstreet shop with as many items of clothing crammed on to the one railing. I never really noticed this shop until one day I was searching for something nice to wear on a special occasion and I came accross here. I walked in and saw so many nice items I threw them all into my hands and ran of to the changing rooms. My opinion is based on the Jeffrey Rogers sister store Rogers and Rogers who cater for sizes 16-24. I fall into this category, Where? - I'm not willing to divulge that amount of information you nosey parker! lets just say that I fit into this category somewhere! In the past I have found shopping for clothes quite frustrating and often heart-breaking. There seemed to be no shops to buy clothes and the clothes that were available were all frumpy and geared towards middle aged woman. Well, I have been "oversized" probably from at elast the age of 14. It is partially inherited and partially due to a lack of motivation to lose weight (having said that I have lost 9lbs in the last 2 weeks!) Naturally, as a teenager, I wanted to wear the latest fashion, but found that very few shops went past a size 14/16 if you were lucky. So, naturally, discovering a store like Rogers + Rogers was an amazing moment for me. A shop dedicated to designing clothes for larger women, but still with a fashionable edge to them. It's a well known fact amongst us larger ladies that there aren't many shops where you can buy nice fashionable clothes if you are a size 16 plus. Rogers + Rogers is one of the very few places you can. I have bought quite a few nice items of clothing there. Admittedly they were a bit pricey, but when you are above a size 14 you don't really have much choice in the issue! There is, however one major problem I have with this store. This is that they seem to want to encourage larger ladies to wear things that not many of us would get away with wearing.
