JJB Sport

JJB is a sports shop and one of the biggest in the uk if not the biggest and they actually own a percentage of rangers football club. I find this jjb sports shop one of the cheapest sports shops in the country. They sell all types of different sports equipment for different sports for example football and hockey and ice hockey and sking and all types of sports like golf gear aswell. I go in here for all my sporting needs and especailly my new football tops come the new season as it is the cheapest place to buy your new football tops and i get one for me and one for my son and it is the cheapest outlet as I have been around them all every season. Reviewing a branch in Sheffield: Now I'm not one for sport shops as my look is usually Black and 'emo' in style but I went with my mum to JJB Sports at Crystal Peaks which is a big shopping centre is Sheffield to look for some new clothes for a recent rock gig weekend away. This is not my sort of clothing at all as I am not a Chav but mum likes wearing casual vest tops and sweat jackets for travelling, etc, so I though I would have a look for my dad and see if there was anything I could get him for his birthday... We're not particularly regular visitors to JJB Sports - the wife preferring instead to shop in the cheaper (if more downmarket) Sports Direct/Sports Soccer/Sports World... or whatever they're calling for these days. However, the wife needs a new keep fit top and after failing to find one in Sports Direct we headed over to JJB - and as such this review is based around the JJB Store at Drakehouse Retail Park near Crystal Peaks in Sheffield. JJB is a large sports retailer in the UK. They have stores all over the country - usually in outlet type shopping centres. i.e. not in the centre of town. This makes parking close really easy. The opening hours from store to store vary but generally the out of town shops have better opening hours - some of which are open until 8pm on a weeknight. The late night openings make it really convenient for people who work and are especially useful at Christmas time. JJB sell a range of products including trainers, clothing and sporting equipment. JJB is one of the biggest retailers of sportswear but for me they are far from being one of the best, since they became the outlet for Glasgow ranger's products they have basically become a glorified Rangers super store and no I am not some disgruntled Celtic fan I do not take any interest in Scottish football. There are two JJB`s in my town and although they used to be decent places to go for sporting goods they have gone way down hill recently.
