Everyone seems to think automatically that John Lewis are the most expensive on everything they sell. Although they're prices aren't actually that competitive, they do offer a price promise for shops in your area (in store only). Even though this is probably an isolated incident, I have had trouble trying to get the price promise on an item before.

On the other hand, all of the John Lewis stores do stock a large number of products and boast loads of sections within the one store; electricals, house products, consumer electronics, clothing, sports equipment, garden equipment, jewllery and the list goes on. The stores also tend to be set out well and finding the thing that you want isn't that big a problem despite the size of most of their stores. The staff are also very helpful and help you finding anything you need. If you're an online kind of person, then John Lewis.com ( www.johnlewis.com ) would probably suit better. The prices are decent, theres a huge range of products and free delivery as well.

So overall, John ewis is a worthwhile store to shop in. If you think the prices are to high, then source it nearby and they should match it. John Lewis are also great with returns and refunds.
