A very honest and expansive shop (John Lewis)

Advantages: Nice to shop in and nice staff

Disadvantages: Not as cheap as other shops

John Lewis is a massive department store chain with stores all around the country. They sell everything associated with department stores, from computers and tvs, to beds and sofas, to kids toys, sports equipment, the list goes on..

John Lewis is a very clever store since they offer a best price guarantee offer whilst still coming out as fairly expensive. This tends to mean that they only stock things for which they know they won't have to lower their prices for too much.

What I have just written however suggests that John Lewis is a crafty store and this would be unfair because it is just simply a fantastic place to shop. The staff are always very courteous and helpful and their products always tend to be of very high quality.

Their shops tend to be very nicely laid out with plenty of space to walk around and it tends to be a shop that I go to just ot browse through things even if I have no intention of buying anything. In particular their sports department is great fun and has an all manner of things in it of interest.

I have thankfully never had any problems with products from them, however their after sales help is supposed to be very good and they don't make accusing the customer their first stance. It is a shame that their prices are not fantastic however the store is so nice that it is always a place that I will consider shopping in.

Summary: A great place to shop if only for their prices.
