The stock of the high street stores is very convient, especially if you want to buy something for an occassion and may not be able to afford it in the store, Kays gives you the option spread the cost, which is just not possible to do with high street stores, but due to this fact they tend to hike their prices up quite considerably. As of God knows how many months or years ago, Kays is now part of the Shop Direct Group - Thats the group that is formed under partnership with Littlewoods. Thats the main thing that may have made you stop reading now, because Littlewoods have a bot of a reputation. Bad!!! dONT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE! i have had an account for over fiver years now. For the last two they and LXDirect have messed my account up. They want more money than I agreed to and its no joking matter. I now have a poor credit rating due to thier increasing errors. They never ring you back either. Financial Ombudsman are now involved with both Kays and Littlewoods Direct. Its astonishing how bad they are. Soon as the debt is paid I am gone! Grrrrrrr! I have been shopping with Kays for years. I was 18 when I stupidly set up my first account with them, i only done this because I saw my mum was a shopper with them, so I decided I would give them a go. The first year shopping with them was fine, I experienced no problems, but now i am beginning to realise why lots of people are deciding against shopping with Kays.
