I found kiddicare website quick, easy and affordable but after ordering a Maclaren Quest buggy I was alarmed to discover the brakes were faulty. I contacted kiddicare by email to notify them. I felt this was an important issue not just for me but all customers who purchased this buggy.
I expalined it was difficult, near impossible to engage the brakes and more importantly they did not prevent the buggy from moving. Three non responded emails later I received an email with no apology or explaination on how to return the buggy but was informed I should "apply oil to the brakes". I continued to email kiddicare stating this was unacceptable and since I had informed them within two weeks or ordering the buggy, I felt it should be replaced or given a full refund. Each email was responded (3 times) with the same suggestion to oil the brakes. I then contacted their store in Peterbrough and asked if someone could contact me from customer services to discuss this very serious issue. I was told this would get urgent attention as the individual I spoke to felt a buggy with faulty brakes was important. That day I received an email oinforming me I should oil the brakes!
So in my review I would say: I would not ording anything from kiddicare that could possibly need after sales attention. Parents please do not order any buggies as a company that sells baby products and could be this flippant about something as serious as faulty brakes on my 3 month old babies buggy, should be made to cease trading. Since I have no way to contact kiddicare, apparently there is no number for customer services (which says it all) I will have to deal with MaCLAREN direct or the small claims court.
