I discovered this web site by accident when I was doing my research prior to buying a new buggy. I was amazed at the low prices quoted for items I had seen in the high street for much more. I have to admit that at first I was a little apprehensive as this was an unknown site and thoughts of getting what you pay for was in my mind. However I needn't have worried!

The company has been trading since 1999 and carries 1.7 million pounds worth of stock. The site itself is fast and really easy to use, with clear instructions from helping you make your choice through to payment. Kiddicare sells a range of children?s equipment including pushchairs, buggys, car seats, highchairs and cots. They also have a very limited range of little tykes? toys. All items have a clear description and most have the facility to enlarge the image.
There is also a section with special offers, which are available to purchase if you buy an item from the main part of the site. There is no limit on the number of specials you are allowed.

All items are very competitively priced and Kiddicare promise to match any other price offered on the Internet.
Payment is secure and delivery free within 7 days. There is a map displayed which indicates which area in the u.k Kiddicare delivers to, which is most with the exception of the highlands and islands of Scotland.

I ordered a Maclaren quest buggy from this company on a Wednesday and it arrived 2 days later on Friday! The buggy was boxed and all I had to do was attach the shopping basket. I paid £59.99; the same buggy was priced at £100 from mothercare. The price of this buggy has since risen significantly however.

Most recently I ordered I ordered a Britax renaissance car seat, this was priced at £99.50,the same seat was £135 in most other places!

There are however some negatives with ordering from Kiddicare, nothing is that good!

1.You cannot specify a delivery time or date, which is r
eally difficult if you are working. You can request that goods are delivered to a neighbour however.

2.If you are not in when goods arrive they will not be left without a signiture. You will be left a card and you only have a few days to collect your parcel. If you fail to do so the goods are returned to Kiddicare and you will be charged £14.40 for the first kilo plus £6.50 insurance for the privilege!

3.Contact with the company is by e-mail, although they did respond quickly I like to talk live!

4.If the goods are faulty or unsuitable then it is a real hassle to return them. The charges are again high and you have to insure them too. If the fault is found to be a manufacturing one then these are refunded, but as I haven't had to do this I don't know how long it would take.

5.stock is limited and the web site pretty basic. Offers do change although not very often.
6. The site is very basic and a little boring to view, but this is only a minor criticism.

I would recommend this company for their low prices and fast free delivery. If you pay by credit card your money is protected should the company go bust before you get your goods. Kiddicare offers 6 months warranty on their goods.

Very informative review, I know now definitely not to buy from here. Not specifying a delivery time or date is unbelievable, 6 months warranty where the legal requirement is 12 and not being able to contact them on the phone is unheard of (quite literally, heard, the phone etc).
Good review, dan :-)

Thanks for the review, I was surprised to learn that Maclaren (F1 cars) shares its name with a buggy! Probably not the same guys but with a name like the Quest Buggy, who knows! Look forward to your next review.

I'm just going to echo some of the other comments here....I think the prices and quick delivery make up for those bad points. Sounds like a good site.
Nice review :o)
