Kids & Family Shops in BelfastNewest Review: ... and treats. Probably best not to go in with the wee ones unless you have a shopping spree in mind or you're a glutton for punishment! Lovely range of 'Jellycat' soft toys which are so cute and quirky, great gifts for any age, even adults. Lots of gifts in the shop, ranging from traditional wooden toys and a small but good selection of books to baby clothes. Something for every age and for both boys and girls. A small shop, you're not going to get every toy that's on the market but you get a sense that everything has been well chosen. Not overly expensive, typical prices but a good place to look for a new arrival or a little one with a b... more |

Learning SPACE is such a fun store to explore in Belfast City Centre just behind the main Boots and a couple of minutes walk from city hall. There is loads of different and inspiring educational toys. My kids love going here even my eldest who is 10 and there is even an interactive area for the kids to play. The staff are really good and it is definitely worth a visit. It is under the Fountain Centre clock which has moving figures that appear on the hour ever hour with a musical chime of the bells. You'll want to go back to this shop all the time! i do!

A great selection of Jane prams but don't bring your kids! Although the majority of the sales staff were very knowledgeable there was a particular lady who was so rude refering to our children who were playing with the toys on display. I spoke to others in mums & tots group and this place is renowned for being rude, one of the mums was told to purchase a new car because they had no prams to fit into her ford ... Swallows and Amazons is one of my favourite shops- I always go there when I want to buy a little something for my son. It is situated on the Lisburn Road not far from Cadogan Fire Station. It is basically a nearly-new kids clothes and baby equipment shop and also stocks new toys from ranges such as Lamaze. If you want rid of your old pram but don't want to give it away, then you can have it sold for you through the shop. I think it's the same with smaller items and clothes, although they probably welcome donations. You can also rent several items, such as car seats. When my son was just 5 days old I paid my first visit to Swallows and ... Read the complete review
