Advantages: Major lessons!
Disadvantages: Lots of dishonest leader hides the reality of this biz!
I havae a greatly bad experience about running a Kleeneze biz!
I truly beleive that MLM businesses would never make a great opportunity for most citizen in Europe.
I HAVE NO DOUBT SOME WILL, AND HAVE BECOME SUCCESSFUL!
I was an agent for about 1.5 year.
I unfortunately followed some real immature advises from my upline - which led me into financial trouble!
I admit my own stupidity was a reason as well but definetly my sponsor gave me such immature and childish advises that i regret that i took seriously.
I have quite a few issues with Kleeneze and sponsorship:
1., in the first place - and i honestly do blame my upline for this!!!! - they are dishonest about the costs involved.
I did have a great difficulty from day to day to fork out my own personal expenses whereas they kept on asking for money for this and that! SO MANY THINGS!
(petrol, website costs, leaflet, voicemail, entrance fees, conferences, meetings, postage, printing, phonebills, internet costs, etc.)
If i had taken sponsorship very seriously i would have needed £800+ a month to cover or even to have a good shot at it!
I once made a calculation - when i had been involved for quite a few months - and i was amazed that it would be easily spend £8000-15000-20000 per annum to market the `low cost franchise`!
Not as my upline couldnt have let me know upfront!
Very disappointing but i needed to realise my direct Gold sponsors `stupid` attitude towards any problem we had.
They kept coming up with `the positive attitude` thingy.
Like it would pay for bread in the shop!!!
2., I now truly believe that European cultures arent designed for face to face marketing!
And that`s it!
People ARE NOT PREPARED to talk to people!
(There - of course - ARE some!!! people who are really good at talking to people about their businesses!)
If people are not prepared to talk then how the interested ones can join?
Through ADVERTISING!!!!
Since MLM supposted to be a NON advertising system then we become not true to our own word!
And thats not good! Is it?
When my upline came up with the `pay for an interested lead £1.5/lead then i started to realise that it is gonna be VERY COSTLY!
And it is!
From these `interested` leads i often couldnt manage to catch them on the phone!
So to get like 100 leads used to cost me £150.00 and 50 quid on postage and dvd and printing costs!
And thats only 100 leads! They couldnt even bother to pick up the phone!
3., Kleeneze products are awfully bad quality!!!
I appreciate that Findel now has bought Kleeneze and will improve things.
But i personally used quite a few products and apart from 1-2 i was ashamed to ask for money when i delivered them!
That (could be) a prime reason for failing in the retail side!
The product MUST BE superb!
4., My upline kept on coming up with the importance of self improvment and the legendary `positive attitude`!!And that being the reason for me not successful!
Basically what it meant to me in the end: a proper biz should bring money to you regardless of your general attitude!
A realistic biz should start bringing you money in after half a year the latest! Proper money, not hunky punky 500 quid!
If your returnes are expected after 3 years then you are either investing (and you play it big!) and exactly know it will work out or you do something wrong! And can get into big trouble!
I dont mean in here that a negative attitude will make you rich!
I mean here that if you work hard on something and make realistic efforts in whatever biz in the UK (restaurant, MOT station, hair stylist, cleaning biz, etc) YOU REALLY SHOULD MAKE MONEY IN A FEW MONTHS IF YOU DO IT WELL!
Thats why there is a biz plan!! To calculate all the costs int he first place!
Is it not true?
I have met lots of wealthy single biz men earlier on in my life and most of them didnt have a particularly positive attitude! They had determination and undoubtedly learnt a lot from their mistakes but wasnt a general thing to see their personality would improve as such - not like you would be expected to change to be a `successful kleeneze rep` anyway.
I realised that i need to make money in the way i am!
Attitude and other personal qualities may change in time (with or without we work on them knowingly) but to get your feet on the ground in a reasonably successful biz shoulnt depend so much on `positive attitude`.
I figured that my kleeneze upline wouldnt accept to say the truth but rather put the blame on the `not so successful` applicants.
Today i just want to make money with the personality i have!
The lessons i have learnt!:
- i would never do anything (any biz, any time taking off from work, any major plans) without having sufficient income!
Lots of people go seriously overdrawn without understanding the true responsibility behind!
Something may happen and they cant stand a chance to pay it back!
And anybody could come up with `positive attitude` then!
- if deciding to make another biz then i would make very thorough calculations on my expenses!
WHICH IN KLEENEZE YOUR UPLINE MOST LIKELY WOULDNT GIVE YOU THE FAIR CHANCE WHEN YOU SIT DOWN FOR THE FIRST TIME!
- DO NOT BELEIVE IN FAIRY TALES! This biz WILL TAKE A LOT MORE EFFORT then you can possibly imagine!
Just to do the retail takes up 5 times going out!
1, endless packing
2, dropp once to your street
3, go back for first
4, go back for second
5, delivery once
6, delivery second attempt
7, somewhere you need to get your delivery from Amtrak
As far as i see that is (especially if you work full time somewhere) 5-6 times going out at nights and weekends!
For this you looking at 200 quid in return!
I dont call that super money!
Summary: There are other options for the efforts and capital you need to put in here!

- 24/03/08 MLM businesses DO work in the UK and work very well. I'm not at all sure where you get the £800 a month needed. This is quite wrong, putting aside the cost of perhpas replacement catalogues at £30 every 6 weeks then a MLM message line at £10.99 a month (this only for recruiting) flyers/leaflets/postage/m eetings shouldn't be taken from anywhere else other than Kleeneze profits and I doubt I've spent £40 last month and I do this FULL time putting out flyers sometimes all day. |
